One of the best episodes yet! Drop 5 talented designers into one of the most famous art galleries in the world and say, "GO".

Snaps to Christian -he's young, but he's got the goods. He has a "point of view" and the skills to back it up. Go Team Fierce!

Sweet P - I'm sorry to see her go - her good-bye was touching. (I was glad to see Christian give her a big hug before she left - underneath the "fierceness" lies a heart.) I think the judges liked her too, but she was more ready-to-wear than haute couture.

Chris March - I love the Big Guy, but this looked too much like his avant-garde challenge.

Rami - I thought the dress was beautiful, but the draping again got him in trouble.

Jillian - The jacket was gorgeous! Beautiful detail.

I loved seeing the Met - I wish someone had chosen something Egyptian from the Temple of Dendur though.

I <3 NY!

Something I really don't like about this season is that they really are pushing the "high fashion" outfits, which is something they haven't done in the past.

For example, I thought Kit's dress was avante garde. It wasn't well-made, but stylistically it was very conceptual. She was right when she said the judges were more looking for haute coutre.

With this Metropolitan challenge, they never asked for a fashion forward or unconventional design. They asked the designers to pick a piece that inspired them and do something with it. Rami shouldn't have been penalized for doing what he loves, he's obviously got a strong point of view, and he executes it beautifully.
