Lets get this thread started!!! I love Kady Malloy, she has been my neighbor in Katy, Texas for 13 yrs! She is an awesome Talent and once she gets herself settled has a chance to go really far in this competition!

I believe the judges were really harsh on her but I am hoping it is a reverse psychology thing since Simon was so complimentary in her audition. I've been around long enough to know that sometimes Simon's praise early on is like the "kiss of death" for a contestant.

I have noticed that they have really backed off on her after proclaiming she was sooo good in her audition. It is troubling for sure. Again, maybe it is the "pimping" thing, don't show too much of her so america isn't sick of her and start hating her because she seems to be "the choosen one" ?

I am baffeled with the lack of face time she has gotten so far.............:(

I know I already can't stand Carly because of all the hype....

I actually wasn't that thrilled with Kady's audition but I loved her performance this week. I was in shock when the judges rendered their harsh comments on her. I have not been able to stop listening to her performance. One of the best of the night.

I agree Margo! I don't see how Kady's "serious" performance was any different from the others that came after her-they were also "serious"........

The harshness of the judge's comments came out of left field and I hope the voting public will see how unfair it was and rally behind her!

By the way: I think we all knew from the beginning that "be yourself" was going to plague Kady through out this competion after they highlighted her ability to impersonate. I am betting that there was so much more to her original audition but the producers pounced on the "impersonations" so they would have something to dog her about through out the season!

I personally love Kady and really enjoyed her performance this week. I thought it was vocally spot on and while she may not have oozed personality, I don't think it would have been appropriate for her to with the song she sang. The judges (particularly Simon) were way out of line this week, but I'm sure she'll be back with a vengeance this week.

There is an unknown song named "One" by Faith Hill. Kady should sing that song. It would suit her vocals perfectly. I have been waiting for a vocalist who had the talent to pull that song off and Kady is the one. ;)

In the Houston Chronicle's Lifestyle/Entertainment section on Tuesday they ran an awesome story and interview with Kady. Her picture takes up most of the front page of that section with the Headline " Stars in her eyes"

Kady's HS Choir director, Lauren Burris, is quoted as saying this about last weeks performance

"was a classic example of her overthinking and overtrying and that stage presence she's still working to conquer. Even in high school, that's something we worked hard to direct for her. But I know she has talent and They know she has talent"

I think Kady was fully prepared to leave last night and was as shocked as the rest of us that she was given another chance. I think her confidence is in the toilet right now since she hasn't heard a good word from the judges in quite some time. I sincerely hope she can overcome that and blow us out of the water next week because I think that is what she is going to HAVE to do to stay in this thing.

i have to admit that "for me" kady has the best vocal in the competition...

the tone is incredible!!!!

i just thought that she's very blonde... i mean she looks very ordinary on TV---she's pretty ofcourse---she does not possess any stage presence at all--- she should work on that...
